What restroom setup does a wedding need?
A 150-guest, 5-hour wedding with a bar needs 4 restroom stalls, one of them wheelchair-accessible. That can be 3 deluxe flushing porta potties plus 1 accessible unit, or a 2-stall restroom trailer plus 1 deluxe and 1 accessible unit. Add a hand wash station with porta potties, and light the path for an evening reception.
| Guests (5 hrs, bar) | Porta potty setup | Trailer setup |
|---|---|---|
| 50 | 2 deluxe + 1 accessible | 1 two-stall trailer + 1 accessible |
| 100 | 2 deluxe + 1 accessible | 1 two-stall trailer + 1 accessible |
| 150 | 3 deluxe + 1 accessible | 1 two-stall trailer + 1 deluxe + 1 accessible |
| 200 | 3 deluxe + 1 accessible | 1 two-stall trailer + 1 deluxe + 1 accessible |
| 250 | 4 deluxe + 1 accessible | 1 four-stall trailer + 1 accessible |
Barn and farm wedding venues: what to check
Check three things at a barn or farm wedding venue before booking restrooms: whether the venue already has restrooms and how many, whether there is a level spot with a 110-volt outlet for a trailer, and whether our truck can reach that spot on gravel or firm grass in wet weather.
Many Central Minnesota barn venues have one or two indoor restrooms, which is not enough for 150 guests. Rented units take the pressure off. If the only path is soft grass, plan porta potties near the drive instead of a trailer behind the barn.

When should units arrive for a wedding?
Wedding units should arrive the day before the wedding, usually Friday for a Saturday wedding, and leave the next business day. Delivery before the rehearsal lets you see the setup. We confirm the delivery window two days before and text when the units are set.
Questions people ask before they bookStraight answers, before you call.
How much does a wedding restroom rental cost?
Deluxe flushing units for a wedding weekend usually run $300–$450 each. A two-stall restroom trailer usually quotes at $950–$1,800. The quote lists every unit, delivery and pickup.
Should I choose a trailer or porta potties?
Choose a trailer for formal receptions with power nearby. Choose deluxe flushing porta potties for casual weddings, sites without power, or tighter budgets.
Can a restroom trailer be placed on grass?
A trailer can sit on firm, dry, level grass. After heavy rain, a gravel or paved spot is safer for both setup and pickup.
Do you attend the wedding to service the units?
We don't staff weddings. Units are stocked for the full event; for 250+ guests, ask about a mid-event restock before the reception.
How far ahead should we book?
Book restroom trailers 4 to 8 weeks before a summer Saturday wedding and porta potties 2 to 3 weeks ahead.
